This is a neighborhood in my city in China. Like its residents, this place has aged throughout the years. When I was in primary school, this area is full of children of my age. Now, only the older generations are left. Younger people moved to more modern parts of the city.

I’ve always wanted to do photo galleries of urban development of different medium-small cities in China. This is a starting point, hopefully.

Family Reunion

This scene is almost a trademark of China. Every vacation, people wait in line for hours to buy train tickets. Those thin sheets of paper with an arrow pointing to a place where they call home is probably the hope of the year for many people.
